He spent his life embracing the outdoors and valuing the time shared with his family.

Marc’s career as a construction worker reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. Beyond his professional life, he found joy in fishing, searching for ginseng, and immersing himself in the beauty of nature. These passions brought him peace and connected him deeply to the land he loved.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Kathy Kiburn and Warner, of Wooton, Kentucky, and his father, Marc Jones. Marc’s family includes his brother, Robert Jake Jones of Wooton, Kentucky, half brother: Christopher Jones, and stepbrothers: Bob Kilburn of Knott County, Kentucky, and Terry Kilburn of Wooton, Kentucky. Together, they carry forward the warmth and spirit that Marc shared with all who knew him.

Marc’s paternal grandparents, Robert and Clara Jones, and maternal grandparents, James and Ruth Herald, have preceded him in death. Their memories remain a significant part of the foundation from which Marc’s character grew.
