Ellis Stephen Dykes

Ellis Stephen Dykes was born, September 8, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida. He is the son of the late, Ellis Milton Dykes and Hazel Burgis Robinson. Ellis passed away Tuesday August 25, 2026 at the ARH Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden, Kentucky. He was 82 years old. Ellis was a former resident of Jacksonville, Florida where he was employed by Abe's Wrecker Service. Ellis had been a resident of Leslie Co. for 20 years. 

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby, Carol and Norma. He leaves the following relatives surviving; one son, Eddie Dykes, two daughters, Stephanie Dykes and Mistie Dykes, two sisters, Margie and Diane, one grandson, Nathan and one great grandson, Nazar, former wife and mother of children, Louise Dykes (Thompson) & devoted companion and care-giver for many years, Laura Napier.  Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

There will be no services for Mr. Dykes.
