Ricky Allen Turner, 66, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Somerset, Kentucky.

Born on July 14, 1960, Ricky will be remembered with love by those who knew him best and by the family whose lives were deeply woven with his own. His passing brings sorrow, but also gratitude for the years shared with him and for the enduring place he holds in the hearts of those he loved.

He is survived by his life-long partner, Sue Pennington, whose steadfast presence was an important part of his life. He also leaves behind his children, Kimberly Denise Jackson(Andrew), Jessica Nicole Coots and Ricky Dewayne Turner also his family circle also includes his brothers, Roger Dale Turner and Thomas Winston “Jiggs” Turner(Peggy). Ricky is further survived by his sisters Bobbi Christine Taylor, Dixie Lee Young, Brenda Melton, Judy Lynn Callahan(Roy), Rosemary Adams, and Willa Mae Adams(Victor). He also leaves behind a cherished next generation of grandchildren: Brittany, Dallas, Dustin, Matthew, Justin, Hunter, Braxton, and Katrina and 14 Great Grandchildren. Each of them carries forward a part of his memory, and together they remain a living testament to the family bonds that meant so much.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Turner; his mother, Mary Mildred Johnson; and his infant sister, Joyce Ann. Their memory remained part of the family story that shaped his life.

He was a very generous and giving person. He would give you the shirt off his back. He will missed tremendously. As his family and friends mourn his passing they also celebrate a life whose meaning is found in those he leaves behind. May Ricky be remembered for the love shared within his family for the connections that endured across generations and for the lasting memory he leaves in Somerset and beyond.

Visitation: Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 12:00 Noon at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, KY.

Funeral: Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ

Interment: Adams Cemetery at Cinda Kentucky
