Johnnena Lovetta Napier

Ms. Johnnena Lovetta Napier, 49 years of age, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2026 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY.  She was born April 8, 1977 in Hyden, Ky the daughter of Mary Rose Napier of London, Ky  and Chester Caldwell of Warbranch, KY.  Johnnena leaves surviving the following relatives: her loving parents, Mary Rose Napier and Chester Caldwell,  her companion, Alex Brock of London, KY, step-daughter, Alexis Tumenta and (Anthony), one brother, Gabriel Caldwell of Manchester, KY, one sister: Misty Nicole Caldwell  and (David) of Warbranch, KY, three nieces, MaKenna Knuckles and (Dawson), Taylor Caldwell and (Peyton), Emily Caldwell, one nephew, Brenton Caldwell, and two step- grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of treasured aunts, uncles, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Johnnena was employed by the Inspired Living Organization as a certified CNA and caregiver. She was a very loving and dedicated worker for those who needed genuine care and professional assistance. Johnnena personality was consistent with her chosen profession, she was very sacrificing, compassionate and giving.  Johnnena was loved and well respected by her patients and co-workers.  Johnnena's faith played a great role in her life. Having lived in London for 20 years, yet her roots were never far from her birthplace of Leslie County.  Johnnena was a member of the New Hope Church, and would attend whenever she was not dedicating her time to care for others. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, and her love of all animals, but especially her dogs, Chika, Smiley and Abby whom she had a fondness for. Johnnena enjoyed spending time with her family and was always involved with their lives. 

Funeral services for Ms. Johnnena Lovetta Napier will be conducted  on Tuesday- Sept. 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m at the New Hope Community Church at Warbranch, KY. The officiating ministers will be Rev. Denver Brock, Rev. Roscoe Asher and Rev. Joey Hoskins. The interment will follow in the Rye Cove Cemetery at Warbranch, KY with the following serve as pallbearers, Billy Mac Napier, David Caldwell, Brenton Caldwell, Dawson Knucles, Rodney Caldwell, Jason Napier and Nathaniel "Peano" Brock. 

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday- September 14, 2026 at the New Hope Community Church at Warbranch, KY.
