James Jr. Lawson

Mr. James Jr. Lawson, born August 16, 1970 in Kentucky. The son of A.B. Lawson and the late, Joyce Wagers Lawson. James passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026. He was 56 years old. James had been a lifelog resident of Clay County, Kentucky.

James is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Joyce Wagers Lawson, cherished sister, Brenda Sue Bowling, treasured niece, Samantha Bowling, brother-in-law, Carl Bowling, mother-in-law, Pearl Abner. 

He is survived by his loving & devoted wife, Mable Lawson, Big Creek, Ky, cherished son, James Brandon Lawson & fiance' Courtney Smallwood, Big Creek, Ky. treasured daughters, April Collett and husband, Eldon Collett, Big Creek, Ky., Ashley Lawson, Big Creek, Ky., Ashley Lawson, Big Creek, Ky. Brittany Sheridan, Berea, KY., step-daughter, Charlotte  Gibson, Berea, Ky.., cherished grandchildren, Aiden Carr, Hailey Lawson, Trendon Dykes, Peyton Collelt, Brantley Martin, Myles Johnson, Braxton Gibson, Bryson Merida, Hunter Wagers, Harleigh Wagers, Layla Lawson, Brayden Sherdian, treasured sisters, Ruby Young & fiance' Alan Helton, Campton, Ky .Ruthann Gibson, Big Creek, KY.
