Kenneth Ray Fields

Kenneth Ray Fields, of Wooton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, in Hazard at The Wells Hospice Center. He was born on March 23, 1959, in Hazard, Kentucky. He worked for over 30 years for Begley Lumber and enjoyed, fishing, spending time with family, riding four wheelers and playing with his loyal companions; Diamond and Freya.

Kenneth will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his sons, Kenny Fields and Skyanna, and Jason Fields and Crystal; and by his daughters, Kandace Fields, Makayla Huff and Steven, and Courtney Maggard. He is also survived by his sisters, Ada “Sue” Fields and Marsha Fields and brother: Leonard Fields and Marlene. 

He leaves behind cherished grandchildren, Jarron Fields, Justin Fields, and Kyson Fields, and a grandchild on the way. The love of family was an important part of Kenneth’s life, and those who carry his memory forward will continue to hold him close in their hearts.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Alene Lewis Fields. Their memories remained a lasting part of his family’s story, and he is now reunited with those who went before him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 155 Hickory Street, Hyden, Kentucky 41749. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., also at Walker Funeral Home in Hyden.

As his family and friends gather to honor his life, may they find comfort in their memories of Kenneth Ray Fields and in the lasting bond of love he shared with those around him.
