Wanda Lee Morgan Wilder

Mrs. Wanda Lee Morgan Wilder passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. She was 86 years old. Wanda was born March 17, 1934 in Leslie Co., KY., the daughter of the late, Johnny Morgan & America Napier Morgan. Wanda had been a life-long resident of Hyden, KY. with the exception of living in Louisville for 12-13 years. Wanda was a loving homemaker, wife, mother & grandmother. She was a mother & grandmother figure to so many that knew her. Wanda had been a member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church since 1975. She enjoyed cooking, gardening & especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving & devoted husband, William "Billie" Wilder, beloved infant son, William Wilder, Jr. & siblings, Anna Lee Bell, Mary Howard, Lily Mosley, Marie Begley, Dave, McKinley, Buster & Jess Morgan.

She is survived by her beloved children, Kathy Wilder Asher & husband, P.J., Hyden, KY., Eugene Wilder & wife, Shelby, Hyden, KY., Eddy Wilder & wife, Teresa, Stinnett, KY & Billie Nicole Wilder Barger & husband, Jimmy, Danville, KY., 1 brother, Johnny Morgan, Jr. & wife, Bonnie, Stinnett, KY., 9 treasured grandchildren, Dean Wilder & Chrissy, Jonathan Wilder & Brittany, Eric Wilder & Amy, Josh Asher, Anthony Wooton, Michelle Collett & Delanie, Alicia Lewis & Craig, Hannah Wooton & J.J. Caldwell & Jaydin Cash Barger & 11 treasured great grandchildren. Also a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Teddy Couch, Rev. Andrew Farmer & Rev. Ryan Osborne

Interment: Laurel Fork Cemetery, Hyden, KY.

Pallbearers: Dean Wilder, Jonathan Wilder, Eric Wilder, Josh Asher, Anthony Wooton, Craig Lewis & J.J. Caldwell

Visitation: Friday, January 22, 2021 at 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Church
