Walter "Rabbit" Walker

Walter "Rabbit" Walker passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. He was 75 years old. Walter was born March 22, 1945 at Busy, KY., the son of the late, Carl Walker & Frankie Campbell Walker. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Walter was a retired employee for Frontier Nursing Service for 18 years. He was a member of the Confluence Baptist Church. Walter enjoyed knife collecting, wood carving, telling stories & spending time with his family.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, loving & devoted wife, Wilma Sizemore Walker & a host of brothers & sisters. He leaves the following relatives surviving; 2 beloved daughters, Dorothy Collett (Rueben), Hyden, KY. & Mary Morgan (Chuck), Hyden, KY., 1 brother, John Walker (Ann), Cornettsville, KY., 1 sister, Nora Morgan, Hyden, KY. & 2 treasured grandchildren, Jared Morgan & Ryder Morgan. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the 400 West Nurses & Nurse-Aides at the Hazard Health & Rehab for their genuine care.

Funeral: Monday, January 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Rev. Paul Couch

Interment: Creekside Memorial Gardens, Perry Co., KY.

Pallbearers: Chuck Morgan, Jared Morgan, Ryder Morgan & Josh Meadows

Visitation: Sunday, January 3, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
