Zelda Mae Gilbert Lewis

Zelda Mae Gilbert Lewis, was born November 12, 1949 in Leslie Co., Ky., the daughter of the late, Rufus Gilbert & Martha Day Gilbert. She passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at her residence. Zelda was 70 years old at her passing. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation she had worked as a clerk for Hensley's Grocery. Zelda enjoyed quilting, flower gardening & especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Zelda was preceded in death by her beloved parents & brother, Otis Gilbert. She leaves the following relatives surviving; one cherished son, Shannon Gilbert & wife, Shirley, Yeaddiss, KY., brother, Willie Ray Gilbert & wife, Geraldine, East Bernstadt, KY., sister, Helen Bailey, Georgetown, Indiana & a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends survive. 

Funeral: Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Kendall Gilbert

Interment: Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery, Smilax, KY.

Visitation: Friday, November 6th at 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service at the Funeral Home Chapel
