Mr. Willis H. Day, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the Well's Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. He was 61 years old. Willis was born October 25, 1959 at Yeaddiss, KY., the son of the late, Warner Day & the late, Judy Joseph Day. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a retired coal miner & truck driver. Willis was an avid mechanic, enjoyed fishing, hunting and horses. Love spending time with his family. 

Willis was preceded in death by his beloved parents, treasured nephew, Christopher and treasured great nephew, "Bub". He leaves the following relatives surviving; his beloved wife, Donna Kelly Day, Yeaddiss, KY., brother, Charles Ray Day, Boyd Co., KY., sister, Alice Faye Pennington (Ben), Keavy, KY., treasured nephew, Charles Ray, Jr., treasured nieces, Trina, Gina, Connie & Flora, treasured great nephew, Brandon Smith, treasured great niece, Makayla Smith & special friends, Beecher Holland, Roger & Edna Gross, Russell Gross, Derek Combs, Glenn Boggs, Glen & Kathy Joseph, Dean Fouts & Sherl Kelly.

Funeral: Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Larry Lewis, Dean Fouts, Rev. Billy Joe Lewis & Derek Combs

Interment: Day Family Cemetery, Yeaddiss, KY.
