William Martin "Marty" Davidson

William Martin "Marty" Davidson 48, of Hyden, Ky.., departed this life on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center.  Marty was born in Hyden, KY., on September 28, 1970 the son of James Davidson & Vera Howard Davidson. Marty was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a mechanic, owner & operator of Davidson's Garage. Marty was a member of the Thousandsticks United Methodist Church at Thousandsticks, KY. He was a member of the Hyden Masonic Lodge #664. Marty enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, music, going to the beach & spending time with his family, especially his children, Ryan & Raegan. 

Marty was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mart & Goldie Davidson, paternal uncles, Donnie Davidson, Johnny Davidson & Phillip Morgan & paternal nieces, Tiffany Williams & Malia Davidson, maternal grandparents, Bill & Viola Howard & father-in-law, Floyd Kemper, great nephews, Kyson & Easton. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Rhonda Kemper Davidson of Hyden, KY., beloved son, Ryan Davidson & wife, Chelsey of Asher, KY., beloved daughter, Raegan Davidson of Hyden, KY., brother, Kenny Davidson & wife, Lorrie of Berea, KY., sister, Susanna Lewis & husband, Jordan of Big Laurel, KY, special cousin, Terra Davidson & Tanner Welch, Hyden, KY. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, April 11, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, KY.

Interment: Davidson Family Cemetery, (Rockhouse Creek) Hyden, KY.
