William Terry Brock, a devoted member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church for 30 years, passed away on December 13, 2023. Born on September 2, 1954, William lived a life filled with faith and compassion.
Throughout his life, William remained committed to his church and its community. He found solace and strength in his religious beliefs, and his unwavering dedication was an inspiration to all those who knew him. As a faithful supporter of the youth in the church, William shared his wisdom and guidance with young minds, leaving an indelible impact on their lives. William graduated from Leslie County High School and then Leslie County Vocational school with both the skills as a carpenter and plumber. He obtained his master plumber degree and dedicated his life to helping people. He was a previous owner and operator of Terry's Restaurant.
In addition to his contributions to the church, William cherished his family and friends. He was a loving husband to his wife Hilda Smith Brock from Hoskinston, KY. Their bond was one built on trust, love, and mutual support. He leaves surviving one brother Tim Brock and wife Donna of London, KY., two nephews, Devan Brock of London, KY, Timothy Gideon Brock of Stinnett, KY; one great nephew Landon Brock of Stinnett, KY; and one great niece Madison Brock. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Ellen Brock and by one brother, Donnie Brock
While we reminisce about William's life, it is important to remember the impact he had on those around him. His kind-hearted nature and genuine concern for others will forever be etched in our hearts. Some of his favorite hobbies included hunting and fishing.
To honor William's memory and celebrate his life well-lived, visitation services will be held on December 16, 2023, at Stinnett Pentecostal Church in Stinnett, KY. The visitation will begin at 6:00 PM with special singing at 7:00 PM.
The funeral service will follow on Sunday, December 17, 2023, also at Stinnett Pentecostal Church at 1:00 PM.
Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery at Stinnett, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Jacob Haycraft, Daniel Haycraft, Dalton Wallace, Timothy Gideon, Devan Brock, Dustin Smallwood, Joshua Smallwood, Michael Smith, Covey Smith and Allen Asher.
