Waylon Otis Asher

Waylon Otis Asher, a bright and spirited soul, was born on February 9, 2012, at Hazard ARH in Hazard, Kentucky. He left this world far too soon on July 13, 2025, at his home in Hyden, Kentucky. Waylon was 13 years old.

Waylon was known for his adventurous spirit and infectious smile. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether he was fishing by the lake, engaging in a round of golf, or simply basking in the beauty of the great outdoors. His laughter filled the air as he played with his beloved sister, Harleigh Asher, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Jimmy "Bo" Asher and Kymber Osborne Asher, who held him close and watched his vibrant personality bloom. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Tim and Susan Osborne, and his maternal great-grandmother, Grace Osborne, who nurtured him with wisdom and guidance. On his paternal side, he will be missed by his paternal grandmother, Connie Asher.

Waylon's family extends beyond his immediate relatives; he leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him and will carry his spirit in their hearts.

Waylon is joined in eternal rest by his late maternal great-grandfather, Otis Osborne and paternal grandfather, Bob Asher, who have welcomed him with open arms. He will always be remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. His light will continue to shine brightly in the memories and stories shared by his family and friends.
