Wanda Wilson

Mrs. Wanda Wilson passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden, Kentucky. Wanda was 81 years old. Wanda was born September 5, 1941 in Leslie County, Kentucky the daughter of the late, Joseph Wilson and Ida Fee Wilson. She had been a life long resident of Leslie County. Wanda was a loving homemaker. She was affiliated with the Middlefork Holiness Church at Asher, KY. Wanda was a poem writer, she had several poems published. She enjoyed gardening, quilting & especially loved spending time with her family.

Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joseph Wilson and Ida Fee Wilson, her loving & devoted husband, Gary Wilson & sister, Wilma Jean Fee. She leaves the following relatives surviving; one cherished son, Kevin Wilson & Jennifer, Corbin, KY., three cherished daughters, Sonya Wilson-Webb, Sharps Chapel, TN, Jovene Wilson & Bill, Harlan, KY and Gwendolyn Wilson & Merle, Warbranch, KY, five brothers, Marvin Wilson, Donald Wilson, Vernon Wilson & Betty, Otis Wilson & Dena and Joe Wilson Jr., five sisters, Athelene Walters & Darryl, Jennifer Brock, Daisy Bragdon & Paul, Carolyn Brock and Brenda Fowler & Berry, eleven treasured grandchildren, Jonathan Hubbard, Jennifer Maggard, Jowana Lewis, Jonathan Wilson & Brittany, Hunter Wilson, Peyton Wilson, Jared Wilson, Jayden Wilson & Claire, Kelsea Wilson, Kayla Helton and Kara Wilson & Jordan, eighteen treasured great grandchildren & two treasured great great grandchildren. Also a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Friday, January 20, 2023 @ 2:00 P.M. at the New Hope Church at Warbranch, Kentucky

Ministers: Denver Brock, Steve Wilson & Tim Finley

Interment: Wilson Family Cemetery, Asher, Kentucky
