Violet Christine Morgan Smith born November 23, 1945 departed this life on Wenesday, February 20, 2019 at the Advent Health Care Hospital, Manchester, Ky. She was 73 years old. Violet was born at Stinnett, Ky., the daughter of the late Robert Morgan & Sally Morgan. Violet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & homemaker. She was a devoted member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, Stinnett, Ky. Violet enjoyed cooking, attending church, travel & shopping. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and doing for others. Violet Christine Morgan Smith was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Zilpha Baker, Eunice Collett, Annette Smith, Marlene Napier & brother; Thomas A. Morgan. Mrs. Violet Christine Morgan Smith leaves the following relatives surviving; her loving and devoted husband; Lonnie Smith of Roark, Ky., two beloved daughters; Lonnette Smith of Roark, Ky., Melinda Jackson & David of Roark, Ky., brothers; Rubble Morgan and wife, Wanda of Stinnett, Ky., James Morgan of Stinnett, Ky., Larry Morgan & wife, Loretta of Hyden, Ky., Roger Morgan & wife, Betty M. of Stinnett, Ky., sisters; Velma Jean Bowling of Stinnett, Ky., Lois Roberts and husband, Joey of Stinnett, Ky., Linda Roberts & husband, Floyd Jr. of Stinnett, Ky., Polly Howard of Stinnett, Ky., Merinda Garrison and husband, Ronald, of London, Ky., treasured grandchildren; Kayla Mosley & husband, Drew, Dylan Smith, Chad Jackson & wife, Heather, Blake Jackson & wife, Brittany, treasured great grandsons, Jayden Smith, Tyler Mosley, & a great granddaughter to be born.
