Vadis Young Couch

Mrs. Vadis Young Couch passed away at her residence Wednesday, October 28, 2020. She was 76 years old. She was born September 3, 1944 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late, Dan Young & Tempie Collins Young. Vadis had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She was a loving homemaker, daughter, wife, mother & grandmother. Vadis enjoyed fishing, sewing, crocheting & spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving & devoted husband, Gaston "Frog" Couch, beloved daughter, Donna Jo Couch, 4 sisters, Polly, Bernice, Tilda & Vestie & 4 brothers, Bob, Henry, Burley & Mannon Young. She is survived by her beloved son, Marty Couch (Donna) of Hyden, KY., 4 brothers, David, Paul, Noah & Edd Young, 2 treasured granddaughters, Kaylynn Couch & Lyndsey Couch & a special niece whom she loved like a daughter, Teresa Couch Cooper. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Rev. Ted Couch & Rev. David Pennington

Interment: Owl's Nest Cemetery, Hyden, KY.

Visitation: Friday, October 30, 2020 at 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
