Troy Lynn Asher

Troy Lynn Asher, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his residence at Helton, KY. He was 54 years old. Troy was born July 18, 1966 in Gleason, Tennessee, the son of Stella Short Asher and the late, Eugene Asher. Troy was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a former strip miner. He was affliated with the Dryfork Holiness Church at Helton, KY. Troy enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, art and drawing and especially loved spending time with his family.

Troy was preceded in death by his beloved father, brother, Curtis and sister, Tammy Louise. He leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved mother, Stella Short Asher, Helton, KY., mother of children, Amy Sheryl Asher, Roark, KY., one beloved son, Troy Brandon Asher (Felicia), Big Creek, KY., two beloved daughters, Morgan Asher Bowling (Jagger), Roark, KY. and Maci Asher, Roark, KY., three treasured grandchildren, Braxton Asher, Brody Asher and Natalie Asher and a special aunt, Eunice. Also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dryfork Holiness Church, Helton, KY.

Minister: Rev. Roscoe Asher

Interment: HoneyBranch Cemetery, Helton, KY.

Pallbearers: Shelby David Brock, Jagger Bowling, Zeb Roark, Taylor Asher, Jeff Egan and Michael Dean Bray
