Stoney Lee Thomas

Stoney Lee Thomas, 60 of Wooton, KY. passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Stoney was born September 4, 1958 in Hazard, KY., the son of the late, Floyd "Joe" Thomas & Alma Cole Thomas. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. He was a retired coal miner & affiliated with the Church of Christ.  Stoney enjoyed riding his razor, four wheeling, sawing wood & riding his motorcycle. He loved being outdoors, he loved his family & loved spending time with his grandkids.

Stoney was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Faron Wayne Thomas, sister, Shellane Thomas Madden & special nephew, Joey Lee Thomas. He leaves the following relatives surviving; loving & devoted wife, Louise Thomas, Wooton, KY. beloved daughter, Trina Joseph & husband, Brian, London, KY., special mother-in-law, Wanda Faye Baker, Wooton, KY, special treasured grandkids, Tristan & Alyssa Joseph & special friends, Bill Melton, Johnny Barger, Dewey Widner & Earl Wayne Johnson.  Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, August 22, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Pastor Tim Reynolds

Interment: Thomas Family Cemetery, Wooton, KY.

Pallbearers: Robert Davis, Dewey Widner, Bill Melton, Brian Joseph, Johnny Barger, Kevin Evans & Chad Joseph

Visitation: Thursday, August 22, 2019 @ 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
