Mrs. Shirley J. Campbell was born, October 4, 1935 in Clintwood, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late, Emerson Reedy & the late, Marie Ellington Reedy. Shirley passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at her residence at Busy, Kentucky. She was 88 years old. By occupation Shirley was a retired school bus driver for the Leslie County School System. She had drove for 27 years and had never missed a school day. She was a member of the Confluence Baptist Church, Confluence, Kentucky. Shirley enjoyed fishing, sewing, puzzles (jigsaw & word search) and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving & devoted husband, Melvin Campbell, a cherished daughter, Kathy Campbell Bowling and  a cherished son, Robert Melvin Campbell. She leaves the following relatives surviving; cherished son, Michael Campbell & Bettina, Busy, KY, cherished daughters, Phyllis Campbell Burcham & James, Busy, KY. and Sarah Campbell Napier & Jack, Busy, KY., special daughter-in-law, Bettina Campbell, 11 treasured grandchildren, Clark Campbell, MaKayla Campbell, Jessica Stevens, Courtney Begley, Preston Riley, Doyle Howard, Matthew Howard, Robert Couch, Ashley Collett, Kaycee Bowling & Bryan Bowling & 20 treasured great grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Friday, October 20, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Confluence Baptist Church, Confluence, KY.

Minister: Rev. Jamie Roberts

Interment: Campbell Family Cemetery, Busy, KY.

Visitation: Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. at the Church
