Seldon Sizemore

Seldon Sizemore, 73, of Corydon, died Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  He was born November 29, 1947, in Hyden, Kentucky, to the late Charlie and Alice Wilder Sizemore.  He was a retired tire technician and was a member of Mt. Zion Community Church near Mauckport.  Seldon loved bluegrass music, watching cartoons and McDonald’s coffee. He was preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter, Jackqulynn Kennell; and his sister, Brenda Sizemore.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Anna M. Blessett Sizemore; his sons, Ricky Sizemore (Delynn) of Charlestown, Indiana, Gerald Sizemore (Tammy) of Laconia, Indiana, and Andy Sizemore of Corydon; his daughters, Linda Dean (Tim) of Corydon, and Evonne Kennell (John) of Louisville; his brother, Carl Sizemore (Karen) of Hyden; his sisters, Alene Hill of Brookville, Ohio, and Christine Hinkle (Denver) and Charlotte Collett (Frank) both of Hyden; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Gilbert Duley will officiate.  Burial will be in Hyland Cemetery near Mauckport.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Sizemore, Gerald Sizemore, Seldon Dean, Michael Dean, Alex Wiseman, Lee Blessett, Joe Blessett, and Matt Blessett.
