Mrs. Sadie Woods passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY. at the age of 76. Sadie was born on April 25, 1943 the daughter of the late Sherman Osborne and the late Dora Vivian Salyers Osborne. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County with the exception of having lived in Dayton, Oh for 15 years and then moved back here in 1976. Sadie enjoyed sewing, crafting, going to yard sales and family get-togethers and dinners. But her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Sadie was affiliated with the Holiness Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Sherman and Dora Osborne, her grandparents who raised her: Will and Jane Osborne, one sister: Debbie Jane Smith, one brother: Curt Osborne and grandchildren: Edwin Alexander Huff and Hargis Chandler Huff. She leaves surviving the following relatives: her loving and devoted husband: Edwin Woods of Thousandsticks, KY., two beloved daughters: Barbara Kay Morgan of Thousandsticks, KY and Theresa Bowling (David ) of Manchester, KY, four sisters: Eva Smith of Dayton, OH, Zelda Wright (Kevin) of Clay City, KY, Sophia Bramble (P.J. Roberts) of Thousandsticks, KY, Bonnie Richter (Mark) of Thousandsticks, KY, five brothers: Sheridan Osborne (Kathleen) of Thousandsticks, KY, R.C. Osborne (Marilyn) of Thousandsticks, KY, Monroe Osborne (Kathy) of London, KY, Troy Smith and Pete Smith both of Clay City, KY, three treasured grandchildren: Christopher Gibson (Ashley), Casey Huff ( Cassandra Gibson), and Faith Huff (Dillon Bowling), one Great Grandchild: Gunner Bowling.
