Ruby Keen

Mrs. Ruby Keen passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 at her residence in Falmouth, Kentucky. She was 72 years old. Ruby was born January 14, 1951 in Harlan County, Kentucky the daughter of the late, Hubert Luther Slaven & Dorothy Baute Slaven. Ruby had been a resident of Falmouth for the past 30 years. By occupation she was retired from Textile Industry. Ruby enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.

Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving & devoted husband, Dennis Eddie Keen, cherished son, Dennis Keen, Jr., treasured granddaughter, Alexandria Keen, sisters, Wanda & Florence and brothers, Rob & Jerry. She leaves the following relatives surviving; cherished daughters, Lila Sue Huff & Kelly, Florence, KY and Tita Ann Rogers & Jimmy, Falmouth, KY, brothers, Charles Slaven & Anna, Harlan, KY and Mitchel Slaven & Shelley, Dayton, KY, sister, Kay Woody, Campbellsville, KY, 14 treasured grandchildren & 18 treasured great grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY

Minister: Rev. Robert Amundsen

Interment: Woods Cemetery, Hyden, KY

Pallbearers: Bub Keen, Caleb Rogers, TJ Sholler, Stevie Sigmon & Billy Rogers
