Mr. Ronald Wade Feltner passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. He was 77 years old. Wade was born January 10, 1944 in Hyden, KY., the  son of the late Shiloh & Bessie Feltner. He was a retired automotive industry employee,  having been employed by  General Motors.  Wade had been a resident of Hyden, Ky., since 1998, having relocated from Michigan.  Wade took great pride in his work as an author, He enjoyed writing stories, reading the Bible & gardening. Wade was a member of the Rockhouse Baptist Church.  Wade was also very community minded.  He was very supportive & generous of local volunteer work both donating his time and financially. Wade was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Shiloh & Bessie Feltner, his loving & devoted wife, Elizabeth Feltner, five brothers, Gillis, Herman, Andrew, Paul & Lida Feltner and two sisters, Kathleen Feltner Pennington and Lillian Ruth Feltner Lewis. Mr. Ronald Wade Feltner leaves the following relatives surviving: two beloved daughters; Melissa Austin of Palm Harbor, Florida, Valerie Lussier of Imlay City, Michigan, one step-son; Anthony Phipps and wife, Wendy, of Vienna Indiana, one brother, Onzie Feltner and wife, Margaret of Hyden, KY., three sisters, Rhoda Feltner Souder, Betty Jean Feltner Lewis and husband, Jimmy and Fannie Feltner, all of Hyden, Ky., two step grandsons; Dustan & Bryce Phipps. Also a host of other treasured  relatives and friends survive.

TIME AND PLACE OF FUNERAL: 1:00 p.m. - Thursday - February 4, 2021 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky.

TIME AND PLACE OF VISITATION:  12 Noon until the funeral hour @ 1:00 p.m. - Thursday- February 4, 2021

PLACE OF INTERMENT: Shiloh Feltner Family Cemetery, Hyden, Ky.

PALLBEARERS: Michael Feltner, Randy Feltner, Randy Asher, Joey Lewis, Roger Bowling,  Onzie Wayne Souder , Jamie Souder & Dustan Phipps
