Roger Lee Trent

Roger Lee Trent, born November 2, 1988, in Dayton, Ohio, was the beloved son of Roger Dean Trent and Annette Combs. He passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, in Panco, Kentucky, at the age of 37.

Roger Lee was a lifelong resident of Leslie County. He was employed at Gay's Sawmill in Saul, Kentucky, where he was valued as a skilled worker. Outside of work, Roger Lee took pride in creating handmade pieces from wood and other items. He will be remembered for his playful spirit, quick sense of humor, and his ability to bring smiles and laughter to those around him.

Roger Lee was preceded in death by his treasured aunt, Joy Bell Sizemore, and great-aunt, Juanita Roberts.

He leaves behind his parents, Roger Trent (Bessie) and Annette Combs; his beloved children, Kaden Trent, Caleb Trent, Kassidy Trent, and Kaylee Trent Hicks (Tyler); his two brothers, Paul J. Trent (Emily) and Dalton J. Trent; his two cherished grandchildren, Noah Hicks and Layla Hicks; and grandmother, Glenna Couch. He is also survived by a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who loved him dearly.

Funeral: Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bear Branch Baptist Church, Bear Branch, Ky.

Ministers: William "Hubby" Bowling & Randy Woods

Interment: Trent Family Cemetery, Hyden, KY.
