Roger Lewis

Roger Lewis born April 25, 1959 departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Harrison Memorial Hospital, Cynthiana, Ky.  He was 61 years old. Roger was born in Perry Co., Ky.,  the son of Garrett Lewis & the late Polly Lowe Lewis. Roger was a devoted member of the Licking Valley Church of Christ, Cynthiana, Ky. and a member of the Harrison Co. Republican Party. Roger had been a resident of Cynthiana for the past 17 years. He had a life-long resident of Hyden. Roger had worked for the Leslie County & Harrison County School Systems. He was retired from 3M in Harrison Co. Mr. Roger Lewis was preceded in death by his loving and devoted mother; Polly Lowe Lewis, two cherished sisters; Charlene Lewis & Deborah Patrick.  Mr. Roger Lewis leaves the following relatives surviving; his beloved father; Garrett Lewis of Hyden, Ky.,  treasured sons; Devin Lewis of Cynthiana, Ky., Austin Lewis of Tonawanda, New York, Brent Lewis of Cynthiana, Ky., Roger Allen Lewis, Hyden, KY., treasured daughters; Sharissa Lewis, Dusty Wise & Misty Wise all of Hyden, KY., brother; Carlos Lewis of Texas, one sister; Georgia Pyron of Texas, mother of the children; Sherry Howard of Lexington, Ky., Eleven beloved grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

TIME AND PLACE OF FUNERAL SERVICE:2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
