Robert W. Nicely

Robert W. Nicely passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Wells Hospice Center in Hazard at the age of 86. Robert was born December 9,1932 in Leslie Co., KY. the son of the late, Robert Nicely & Arkie Huff. Robert was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he had worked for LKLP. He was a member of the Yerkes Baptist Church at Yerkes, KY. Robert enjoyed playing music, fishing & spending time with his family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rachel Nicely, brother, Orville & sister, Helen. He leaves the following relatives surviving, one beloved son, Bobby Nicely & Leslie of Busy, KY., brother, Hilbert Nicely of OH., sisters, Bonnie Huff of Central City, KY. & Thelma Huff of FL., brothers-in-law, Bill Howard, Cecil Howard & Curtis Huff, sisters-in-law, Diane Howard & Loretta Howard & treasured grandchildren, William Nicely, Dustin Melton, Brian Melton, Jordan Barnett & Madie Campbell. Also a host of nieces & nephews survive.

Funeral: Friday, August 30, 2019 @ 3:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Paul Couch

Visitation: Friday, August 30, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
