Rev. Robert B. Gross

Rev. Robert B. Gross passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. He was 63 years old. Robert was born February 4, 1958 in Clay Co., KY., the son of the late, Brice Gross & Martha Fisher Gross. Robert had been a resident of Leslie Co. for the past 11 years. By occupation he was a retired coal miner of 40 years & a Methodist Minister since 2009. Robert was the pastor at Mill Creek United Methodist Church & Stoney Fork United Methodist Church. He enjoyed restoring old vehicles, fishing, 4-wheeling & spending time with his family.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved parents, 2 brothers, Roger & Gary Gross, 1 sister, Janice Gross Collins, father-in-law & mother-in-law, Rufus & Lena Mae Short. He leaves the following relatives surviving; loving & devoted wife, Sharlene Gross, Helton, KY., 3 beloved sons, Jason Gross, Manchester, KY., Leslie Gross, Ohio and Kaden Trent, Helton, KY., beloved daughters, Crystal Nolan, Helton, KY., Kaylee Howard & son, Noah, Helton, KY., Kassidy Trent, Helton, KY., Alysah Short, Bledsoe, KY., Aaliyah Short, Bledsoe, KY. & Alexis Short, Bledsoe, KY., 1 sister, Betty, Danville, KY. & a host of treasured nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation: Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY. & Sunday, at 12:00 Noon at the Church
