The Obituary for Mrs. Rhonda Melton Reid

On Friday, August 23, 2024, at the age of 73 , Mrs. Rhonda Melton Reid entered her heavenly home where she reunited with her husband and sister. Rhonda was born in Wooton, Kentucky, on September 5, 1950, to Edgar Paul and Mabel Bowling Melton. 

Rhonda was a former resident of Wooton, Kentucky and lived the past 22 years in London, Kentucky. Rhonda was a devout Christian, a loving and devoted wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend. Her kind and compassionate heart and uplifting personality was apparent. She had a true desire to spread love and help others. Rhonda worked many jobs over the years. Her role in HR for several companies is where she touched the lives of many.

 Rhonda loved spending time with her family and friends. Being with and talking about her grandchildren was her greatest joy. She loved working in her flower gardens and seeing the beauty as they grew. Rhonda's life radiated love, she was an angel on earth.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Wayne, her sister, Betty Sue Baker; and by her parents. She leaves surviving, her beloved daughters, Melissa Morgan and her husband, John, and Holly Sizemore and her husband, Richard; three treasured grandchildren, of whom she adored, Autumn Begley, Matthew Morgan and Eden Begley; her sister, Mary Lou Warfield, and her husband, Wally, her precious cat, Jazz; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
