Ray Campbell

Mr. Ray Campbell passed away Monday, February 13, 2023. He was 70 years old. Ray passed away at his residence at Jeremiah, Kentucky. He was born June 5, 1952 in Leslie County, Kentucky the son of the late, Hargis Campbell & the late Artie Neace Campbell. By occupation he was a retired surface coal miner & mechanic. Ray was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. He enjoyed coon & squirrel hunting, racing & fishing. 

Ray was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Hargis Campbell & Artie Neace Campbell, loving & devoted wife, Munyean "Boosie" Campbell, treasured granddaughter, Jenny "Kush" Vanzant, treasured grandsons, Oliver "Bam" Vanzant & Lee Lewis, brothers, Eddie, Colson & Paul Campbell & sister, Faye Campbell Sizemore. He leaves the following relatives surviving; cherished daughter, Gerema Cornett & Robyn, Yeaddiss, Kentucky, treasured step daughters, Imogene Vanzant & Andy, Gordon, Kentucky and Beulah May Ritchie, Jeff, Kentucky, cherished step sons, Brasley Lewis & Brady Lewis, brother, Arvil Campbell & Rose, Wooton, Kentucky, sister, Mallie Mitchell & Carlos, Wooton, Kentucky, treasured grandchildren, Tosh, Chelsie, Harley,  Keith, Sammy, Crystal, Jamie, Brandy, Olivia & Krissy, treasured great grandchildren, Katie, Bub, Hanah, Hailey, Tyler, Taylor, Grant, Michael, Cynthia, Rose, Alex & Ashley & special friend, Frank Phillips, Letcher County, Kentucky. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky

Minister: Rev. Jerry Lewis

Interment: Beech Fork Cemetery, Leatherwood (Perry County), Kentucky

Visitation: Sunday, Feb. 19th at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home Chapel
