Phronia Howard Begley

Mrs. Phronia Howard Begley, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital. She was 77 years old. Phronia was born December 26, 1943 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late, Alonzo Howard, Sr. & Ophra Young Howard. Phronia had been a resident of Leslie Co. in her younger years, later on in her adult life she lived in Muhlenberg Co., KY. & in her most recent years she lived in Leslie Co. She had been a loving homemaker, mother & grandmother. Phronia enjoyed eating out & spending time with her family.

Phronia was preceded by her parents, husband, Wesley Begley, brothers, Eugene & William Howard & sisters, Doris Griffith & Virginia Cox. She leaves the following relatives surviving; one beloved son, Bobby Dale Begley & Vicki, El Mirage, Arizona, one beloved daughter, Natalie Renee Begley, Madisonville, KY., five brothers, Paul R. Howard & Carolyn, Hyden, KY., Robert Howard, Hyden, KY., Alonzo Howard, Jr. & Peggy, Hyden, KY, Benny Howard & Nancy, Newport, KY. & Edward Howard, Newport, KY., two sisters, Juanita Lewis, Hyden, KY. & Viola Adams, Hyden, KY., two treasured twin grandsons, Noah Begley & Nolan Begley (Chelsea) & two treasured great grandchildren, Rilyn & Hazel. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. 

Funeral: Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Van Williams

Interment: Howard Family Cemetery, Hyden, KY.

Visitation: Saturday, April 24th at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
