Pearl Morgan

March 10, 1926 — July 27, 2022

Mr. Pearl Morgan passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. He was 96 years old. Pearl was born March 10, 1926 at Stinnett, Kentucky the son of the late, Sam Morgan and the late, Marie Bowling Morgan. Pearl was a veteran where he served honorably in the U.S. Army. He had been a resident of Essie, Kentucky then he had spent a number of years in Franklin, Ohio where he worked and retired at General Motors and he had spent his last years at Essie. Pearl had been a faithful member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church for over forty years. He enjoyed going to church and spending time with his family.

Pearl is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Sam and Marie Bowling Morgan, his loving and devoted wife, Maude Bowling Morgan, his cherished son, David Morgan and 3 sisters, Mollie Smith, Georgia Ann Morgan and Mae Oliver.  He is survived by his granddaughters, Mindy Clark, Ohio and Christina Morgan, Texas, 5 sisters, Mable Rice, Delta Napier, Nancy Bowling all of Stinnett, KY, Virginia Lee Wagers, Florence, KY and Rose Mary Baker, London, KY., his great grandson, Austin David Clark and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.  

Funeral: Friday - August 5, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY. (THE VISITATION AND FUNERAL TIMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED FROM THURSDAY TO FRIDAY)

*Full Military Rites will be performed by the Leslie Co. DAV Chapter #133*

Minister: Pastor James Bowling, Jr.

Interment: Hoskins Family Cemetery, (Army Trail Road), Asher, Kentucky

Visitation: Friday - August 5, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. - until the funeral hour at 3:00 p.m.
