Patsy Lou Bowling

Patsy Lou Melton Bowling of Hyden, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center at the age of 74.Patsy was born March 12, 1945 in Hazard, KY., the daughter of the late, Prentis Melton & Lula McCoy Melton. Patsy was raised by Harold & Lula McCoy Begley.  She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Patsy was a retired bus driver & teacher's aide from the Leslie Co. School System. She was a member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ in Hyden, KY. Patsy enjoyed going to Senior Citizens, puzzles, sports, attending church, traveling, flower gardening & especially spending time with her family.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Donnie Begley & sister, Diana Moore. She is survived by her loving & devoted husband, Clifton Bowling of Hyden, KY., beloved sons, Harold Bowling & Shirley of Hyden, KY. & Clifton "Curly" Bowling & Angela of Pulaski Co., beloved daughters, Brenda Shepherd & Shannon of Wooton, KY. & Melinda "Lindy" Bowling of Hyden, KY., brother, Roger Begley of Wooton, KY., treasured grandchildren, Ashley, Paige, Steven, Lyndsey, Breanna, Rylan & Ella, great grandchildren, Aiden & Aislinn, special niece, Helen Marie McDaniel & special friends, Nancy Williams & Betty Farley. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.</p

Funeral: Saturday, June 22, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Hurts Creek Church of Christ, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Roger Bowling

Interment: Family Cemetery at (McIntosh) Wooton, KY.

Pallbearers: Shannon Shepherd, Rylan Simpson, Aiden Dutton, Rick Young, Donnie Begley, Will Dutton, Eddie Dale Moore & Slade Vanover
