Odette Melton

Odette Sizemore Melton of Wooton, KY. passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at her residence at the age of 87. Odette was born June 11, 1931 in Hyden, KY. the daughter of the late, Letch Sizemore & Abigail Hoskins Sizemore. Odette was the last surving child of Letch & Abigail. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. Odette was a loving wife, mother & grandmother.  She was a devoted member of the Wooton Presbyterian Church, EPC. Odette enjoyed going to Church, flowers & especially loved spending time with her family.

Odette was preceded in death by her parents, Letch & Abigail Hoskins Sizemore, loving & devoted husband, Troy Lester Melton, a beloved son, Russell Melton, a treasured grandson, Jonathan Troy Melton, a loving daughter-in-law, Deborah K. Melton & a host of treasured brothers & sisters. She leaves the following relatives surviving, beloved children Jerry Melton & Mary of Wooton, KY., Bruce Melton of Hazard, KY. & Donna Napier & Mike of Wooton, KY., treasured grandchildren, Larry Bruce Melton & Tonya, Laura Melton, Rusty Melton & Sabrina, Stacey Hubbard & Brian, Jace Peters & Kyle, Brian Napier & Emily & Ryleigh Napier & treasured great grandchildren, McKenzie Alexander, Hannah Melton, Ben Melton, Carson Peters, Aniston Peters, Elin Hubbard & Iyla Hubbard. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. A special thanks to Odette's caretakers who have become family, Rosalee, Vickie & Rosetta.

Funeral: Friday, May 3, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Interment: Melton Family Cemetery, Wooton, KY.
