The obituary of Mrs. Molly Sue Whitaker Coots

      Mrs. Molly Sue Whitaker Coots born Sept. 16, 1946 in Perry County departed this life on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at London, Ky at the age of 73.   She was the daughter of the late Gordon Whitaker and the late Dora Boggs Whitaker.  Molly was a former resident of Wooton, KY having lived in London for the past 24 years. She was affiliated with the Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker all her life. Molly enjoyed flower gardening, she was an animal lover and an excellent cook especially known for her delicious biscuits and cornbread. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Molly was preceded in death by her parents, her loving and devoted husband: Columbus Coots, , son: Joe Daniel Coots, brothers: Bill Whitaker, Gordon B. Whitaker, sisters: Virgie Melton, Pauline Smith, infant sister: Mary Katherine Whitaker. She leaves surviving the following relatives loving son: Jimmy Dean Coots of London, KY, three devoted daughters: Donna Gail Oliver of London, Ky, Brenda Sue Morgan (Dave) of Pikeville, Ky, Joanie Christopher (Pete) of Wooton, KY , four brothers: Joe Daniel Whitaker of London, KY, Ikie Whitaker(Betty) of Corbin, KY, Henry Jr. Young (Dixie) of Wooton, Ky, James Young (Johanna) of Busy, KY, five sisters: Maurine Johnson (Jimmy) of Pennsylvania, Wanda F. Williams of Smilax, KY, Emma Louise Bingham (Bobby) of Alabama, Evelyn Begley (Gary N.) of Cornettsville, KY, Etta Young of London, KY, six grandchildren: Wendy Nicole Howard Griffin (Jack), Brandon David Morgan, Quentin Jay Morgan (Brandy), Jimmy Joe Daniel Morgan (Leah Robinson), Amanda Sue Benton (Zack), Abbigail Gibson, five great Grandchildren: Maddox Elijah Morgan, Hudson Jaycob Morgan, Harper Quinn Morgan, Lyndi Brett Morgan and Brinlynn Faye Benton.  She is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.  You may leave your condolences to the family @ www.dwaynewalkerfuneralhome.com

FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 P.M. - Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Hyden, KY.

VISITATION: 6-9 P.M. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019 at the funeral home chapel.

OFFICIATING MINISTER: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis

PLACE OF INTERMENT: Hurricane Cemetery at Hyden, KY
