Mary served diligently in her professional life, having worked for LKLP and as a receptionist at Hayes Lewis Elementary, where she made meaningful connections with students and staff alike. A life-time member of the Church of Christ at Baker Fork, her faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She found joy in reading her Bible, cooking delicious meals for her loved ones, tending to her garden, and caring for her chickens. However, her greatest joy came from the love she held for her family, which she cherished above all else, apart from her devotion to Jesus Christ.
Mary is survived by her beloved son, Clayton Baker and his wife Gaylene; her daughters, Sharon Gross and her husband Denton, Charlotte Spencer, and Connie Stevens and her husband Tim. She also leaves behind her dear sister Della Asher, seven cherished grandchildren—Misty Collett and Keith, Mary Turner and John, Miranda Collett and James, Ronnie Skeens and Harley, Christopher Gross and Brittany, and Whitney Clemons and Jordan Stevens. In addition, she is survived by six great-grandchildren—Kyleigh Skeens, Noah Turner, Caleb Gross and McKenzie, James Skeens, and the soon-to-be-born Carter Blake.

Baker; and her sisters, Goldie Curry, Alpha June Adams, Fannie Estridge, Stella Adams, Jewell Adams, and Sarah Pennington. She was also preceded by her brothers, Henry Turner, Nick Turner, Chester Turner, and Corbin "Dobber" Turner.
