Mary Kathyrn Chappell

Ms. Mary K. Chappell born February 10, 1950 departed this life on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Mary Breckinridge ARH in Hyden,  Mary K. was born in Hyden, Ky., the daughter of the late Harvey Chappell, Sr. and Fern Adams.  Mary K. was employed as a secretary for the Frontier Nursing Service and Hyden Manor Nursing Home.  She also worked at Campbell Drug.  Mary K. was a member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ, Hyden, Ky and a life-long resident of Leslie Co.  She enjoyed sewing and cooking, however her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.  Ms. Mary K. Chappell was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Chappell, Sr. and Fern Adams Chappell.  Ms. Mary K. Chappell leaves the following relatives surviving: three cherished brothers, Harvey Chappell, Jr. and wife Debbie of London, Ky., Harold Chappell and wife, Verna of London, Ky., Freddie Chappell and wife, Carolyn of London, Ky. & one cherished sister, Judy Brock and and husband, Boyd of London, Ky. along with a host of treasured nieces and nephews. You may send your condolences to the family @dwaynewalkerfuneralhome.com
