The obituary of Mr. Marvin Baker:

      Mr. Marvin Baker born November 6, 1967 departed this life on Thursday, July 09, 2020 at his residence.  He was 52 years old.  Marvin was born at Hyden, Ky., the son of Mary Lewis and the late Lige Baker.  Marvin was a former employee of Begley Lumber Co., working at the sawmill and was a mechanic.  Marvin enjoyed hunting, fishing & playing video games.  Marvin's greatest joy came from spending time with his family.  He was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., residing at Hyden, Ky., at the time of his death.  Mr. Marvin Baker was preceded in death by his father, Lige Baker, sister; Marlyn Baker Simpson, nieces; Jennifer Lumpkins, Katrina Gail Baker & maternal grandmother; Thelma Lewis. Mr. Marvin Baker leaves the following relatives surviving; his cherished mother; Mary Lewis Clark of Hyden, Ky., his loving and devoted wife; Mary Couch of Hyden, Ky., two beloved sons; James Austin Baker of Hyden, Ky., William Baker of Hyden, Ky., beloved daughter; LeAnna Baker of Bowling Green, Ky., cherished grandfather; Henry Lewis of Hyden, Ky., brothers; Steve Baker of Hyden, Ky., Mark Baker & wife, Mary Ellen of Mozelle, Ky., Daniel Baker of Hyden, Ky., Manuel Baker of Hyden, Ky., sister; Rose Ann Baker of Hyden, Ky., treasured granddaughter; Ava Howard, nieces; Natasha Griffitts, Mary Ann Nantz, Tiffany Simpson Christy Baker, Samantha Baker, Mary Baker, Deanna Simpson, nephews; Johnny Baker, Mark Couch, Alex Couch, Danny Baker & a host of other relatives and friends survive.    

Funeral: Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the residence of Marvin Baker at Owl's Nest Road, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Rev. Cody Welborn

Interment: Lewis Family Cemetery, Owl's Nest Road, Hyden, KY.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 15th at 1:00 P.M. at the residence.
