Marty Dean Colwell

Marty Dean Colwell was born November 5, 1956 in Hyden, Kentucky. He is the son of the late, Boyd Colwell and the late, Floria Eldridge Colwell. Marty passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at his residence at Busy, Kentucky. Marty was 67 years old. By occupation Marty had worked as a sawmill employee. He was a member of the Grassy Branch Church of Christ at Busy, Kentucky. Marty enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Marty is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Boyd and Floria Eldridge Colwell, loving and devoted wife, Debbie Skeens Colwell, cherished son, Marty Dean Colwell II and brothers, David Colwell and Larry Wade Colwell. Marty leaves the following relatives surviving; two cherished daughters, Melissa Lynn Prewitt (Aaron) Busy, Kentucky and Flora West, Somerset, Kentucky, treasured grandchildren, Nathaniel (Ashley), Kaylee, Jacob, Tennille, Aaron, Wanda, Deina, Clara and Marissa, treasured great grandchildren, Jevonte, Allison, Cedric, Charissa and Hunter, treasured niece and nephew, Holly and Donald and two special cousins, Kelly and Sam. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lower Grassy Branch Church of Christ, Busy, Kentucky
