THE OBITUARY OF MARGARET ANN BENTLEY FELTNER

      Margaret Feltner born November 12, 1954 departed this life of on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Ky.  She was 67 years old.  Margaret was born in Hyden, Ky., the daughter of the late Woodrow Bentley and Lily Cohen Bentley.  Margaret was a retired employee of the Leslie Co. Board of Education with 23 years of distinguished service.  She was well liked and respected by students, teachers and all staff members.  Margaret was employed for 15 years at James Feltner's Hyden Grocery prior to working at the board of education.  She was a devoted member of the Hyden Church of God, Hyden, Ky.  Margaret enjoyed art and was a member of Leslie Co. Arts Council, attending church and participating in church activities and spending time with children, especially her nieces and nephews.  Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, beloved sister, Lucille Asher, beloved brother, David Bentley and infant sister, Molly Gertrude Bentley.  Mrs. Margaret Feltner leaves the following relatives surviving: her loving and devoted husband, Onzie Feltner of Hyden, Ky., two cherished brothers, Billy Ray Bentley and Trina of Hyden, Ky, Michael Bentley of Clay Co., Ky., three beloved sisters, Helen Gay and Jay of Owsley Co. Ky., Virginia Jackson and Sid of Hyden, Ky., Sophia Combs and Donnie Lewis of Hyden, Ky., special treasured niece, Haley Simpson, special treasured nephew, Ryan Simpson, and a host of other relatives and friends.  You may offer your condolences to the family @www.dwaynewalkerfuneralhome.com
