Marcus Holland

Marcus Holland was born August 26, 1944 at Warbranch, Kentucky the son of the late, Caleb Holland & the late, Virgie Napier Holland. He passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his residence. He was 79 years old. Marcus had been a life long resident of Leslie County. By occupation he was a retired logger & strip miner. He was affiliated with the New Hope Community Church. Marcus enjoyed coon hunting & spending time with his grandchildren.

Marcus was preceded in death by his beloved parents, loving & devoted wife, Lucille M. Holland, cherished daughter, Barbara Hoskins Nale, brothers, David Holland & Bill Holland & half-brother, Joe & sisters, Evelyn Marie Brock & Oma Sue Nantz. He leaves the following relatives surviving; cherished sons, Joe Holland & wife, Scarlett & Luke Holland both of Warbranch, KY & Kevin Wilson & wife, Jennifer, London, KY., daughters, Jean Caldwell, Bledsoe, KY, Rosie Napier & Larry, Warbranch, KY & Scarlett Hoskins Sowder & Randall, Salem, IN. & a host of treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the New Hope Community Church, Warbranch, KY.

Minister: Rev. Denver Brock

Interment: Rye Cove Cemetery, Warbranch, KY.

Visitation: Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. at the Church
