Maggie Wooton Campbell

Maggie Wooton Campbell, of Hyden, Kentucky passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Well's Hospice Center, Hazard, Ky. She was 86 years old. Maggie was born March 12, 1940 in Hyden Kentucky the daughter of the late, John F. Wooton and Martha Jane Campbell Wooton. She was a homemaker. Maggie was a member of the Camp Creek Church of Christ at Wendover, Kentucky. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, reading, cooking and especially loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.

Maggie is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Covey Feltner and Jesse Campbell, sister, Mallie and Brothers, Raymond, Troy, Estus, Everett an Earl. The following relatives are surviving, two sons, Johnny Feltner (Marilyn) and Jesse Campbell (Brooklyn), two daughters, Mary Feltner (Randy) and Bertha Feltner, 1 brother, Charles Wooton, 7 grandchildren, Jonathan Feltner (Kandice), Destiny (Michael), Michael Smith (Ashley), Robbie Riley, Jax, Hank and Nora, 6 great grandchildren, McKinley, Trey, Allie, Reese, Remi and Riley and a loving dog, Ruby.

Funeral: Monday, October 5, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Craig Melton

Interment: Scalem Cemetery, Perry County, KY.
