      Mrs. Mable Morgan Rice born February 9, 1937 departed this life on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at her residence, Stinnett, Ky. She was 85 years old.  Mable was born in Leslie Co., Ky., the daughter of the late Sam Morgan & Marie Bowling Morgan. Mable had been a life long resident of Leslie Co. Mable was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY. Mable loving going to church, taking care of children, gardening, sewing and especially loved spending time with her family.

Mable is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Sam & Marie Bowling Morgan, her loving and devoted husband, Lindburg Rice, cherished sons, Darrell Napier, Lonnie Napier and Jimmy Napier, step-daughter, Sherry Rice Smith Davis, sisters, Molly Smith, Mae Oliver and Georgia Ann Morgan and brother, Pearl Morgan, infant grandson, Richard Blake Osborne, great-grandson, infant Timothy Darrell Zane Caldwell & great-granddaughter, Isabella Napier. She leaves the following relatives surviving; cherished sons, Pearl Napier, Stinnett, KY, Wayne Napier & Joan, London, KY and Ricky Napier & Lisa, London, KY, cherished daughter, Patricia Osborne & Gary, London, KY, step-sons, Lonnie Rice & Dean Rice, sisters, Delta Napier, Stinnett, KY, Nancy Bowling, Stinnett, KY, Virginia Lee Wagers & Orville, Florence, KY and Rose Mary Baker & Silas, London, KY, 21 treasured grandchildren, Marissa Rice, James Napier, Clinton Napier, Lezley Napier Mullins, Jennifer Napier, Shannon Wayne Napier, Raegan Napier Caldwell, Jason Napier, Stephen Nicholas Napier, Cheyenna Napier, Shane Napier, Kyle Napier, Stefan Napier, Jordan Napier, Sundral Napier, Nikita Napier Pattison, Darren Napier, Austin Napier, Melinda Sizemore, Brooke Bowling and Janelle Osborne, 34 treasured great grandchildren & 2 treasured great great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral: Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, Essie, KY.

Ministers: Pastor James Bowling, Jr., Wayne Baker and Ryan Osborne

Interment: Darrell Napier Family Cemetery, Stinnett, KY.

Pallbearers: James Napier, Kyle Napier, Stefan Napier, Jacob Rice, Austin Napier and Brent Bowling
