Louise Johnson Wooton born March 4, 1938, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY., at the age of 81. Louise was born in Hyden, KY. the daughter of the late, Orville Johnson & Polly Jane Wells Johnson. Louise had been a resident of London, KY. for the past 11 years, previously living in Leslie Co. She was a member of the 19th Street Church of Christ in Corbin, KY. Louise enjoyed quilting, cooking, attending church & spending time with her church family & friends & family especially her 2 great grandchildren, Tiffany & Sydney.

Louise was preceded in death by, parents, loving & devoted husband, Earl Wooton, brother, Gilford Johnson & brothers-in-law, Kelly Rice & Vernon Melton. She leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved son, Terry Wooton & Rita of London, KY., 1 brother, Lee Jr. Johnson & Geneva of Richmond, KY., 2 sisters, Vanda Rice of Wooton, KY. & Betty Jean Melton of Strawberry Plains, TN., 2 treasured grandchildren, Amanda Clark & Anthony & Chris Wooton & 2 treasured great grandchildren, Tiffany Harris & Sydney Harris., two special friends; JoAnn & Joyce. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Friday, August 2, 2019 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Hurts Creek Church of Christ, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: David Scott & Keith Bowling

Interment: Brewer Cemetery at Wooton, KY.

Pallbearers: Chris Wooton, Anthony Clark, Cody Adams, Patrick Morgan, Steven Caudill & Kevin Stamper

Honorary Pallbearers: Lynn Stamper, Freddie Day & Lonnie Adams

Visitation: Thursday, August 1, 2019 @ 6:00 P.M. at the Hurts Creek Church of Christ, Hyden, KY.
