Lonnie Keith Maggard

Lonnie Keith Maggard passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Hazard, Kentucky. He was 65 years old. Lonnie was born October 26, 1956 in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Larkin Maggard and Callie Adams. Lonnie was a life-long resident of Leslie County. By occupation he had worked as a security guard & had worked for the City of Hyden. He was affliated with the Hurts Creek Church of Christ. Lonnie enjoyed fishing, reading the Bible and going to Gatlinburg. 

Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, Larkin Maggard and one sister, Nannie Kay Hendrix. He leaves the following relatives surviving; step-mother, Edna Hamblin Maggard, Winchester, KY, two brothers, Isaac Maggard & Tina, Stinnett, KY & Chris Maggard, Louisville, KY, one sister, Zola Wells, Winchester, KY, brother-in-law, Lonnie Hendrix & his son, Trey & a host of other nephews, nieces & cousins survive.

Funeral: Monday, August 29, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hurts Creek Church of Christ, Hyden, KY.

Officiaiting Minister: Mack Lewis

Interment: Larkin Maggard Family Cemetery, Hyden, KY.

Visitation: Monday, August 29th at 12:00 Noon at the Church
