Lola Faye Gilbert Johnson

Lola Faye Gilbert Johnson was born February 2, 1966 in Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of Jacqueline Smith Gilbert and the late, Haywood Gilbert. She passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her residence at Whitesburg, Kentucky. She was 56 years old. Lola had been a resident of Whitesburg for the past 20 years. She had previously lived in Leslie County. By occupation she was a sale representative for Mary K. Cosmetics. Lola enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, fishing, going to Goodwill to shop, spending time with her dogs, Granny & Maxi & her cats, Darcy and Charlie & she loved spending time with her friends & family.

Lola Faye was preceded in death by her beloved father, husband, Henry Jr. Hacker (Toot Toot), niece, Kendra Hall, sister-in-law, Karen Gilbert and brother-in-law, Basil Dean Hall. She leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved mother, Jacqueline Smith Gilbert, Stinnett, KY., 3 brothers, Johnny Gilbert & Carolyn, Thousandsticks, KY., Roger Gilbert, Stinnett, KY. and Donald Gilbert, Stinnett, KY, 2 sisters, Oma Carol Huff & Leslie, Hyden, KY. and Christine Smith & Chalous, neices & nephews, Sonya Wright, Josh Huff, Nathan Hall, Wesley Gilbert, Kyle Nantz, Kevin Bray, Hayley Gilbert, Brenda LeAnn Hensley, Monica Hacker, Katie Halcomb and Heather Akers, special friends, Wilma Oneal, Tonya Wright, Brandy Collins, Regina Wright, Darrell Stacy and Donnie Morgan. Also a host of many other friends, uncles, aunts & cousins survive.

Funeral: Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Rick Sturgill & Rev. Jeff Hacker

Interment: Hall-Gilbert Family Cemetery, Stinnett, KY.

Pallbearers: Johnny Gilbert, Roger Gilbert, Sonya Huff Wright, Lonnie Dean Brown, Carolyn Gilbert and Wes Gilbert
