Lisa Renee Marcum

Lisa Renee Marcum, born on September 8, 1969, in Los Angeles, California, passed away on February 14, 2026, at her residence in Hyden, Kentucky. She was 56 years old. A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Lisa's life was characterized by her deep commitment to family and her passion for cherishing the moments spent with loved ones.

Throughout her life, Lisa demonstrated unwavering devotion to her family, always prioritizing their happiness and well-being. She is survived by her brother, Floyd Dean Shannon Begley, as well as her nieces, Sicily Stevena Rayne Begley and Sophie Begley, and her nephews, Stephen Marcum and River Begley. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Marcum; her mother, June Nantz; her brother, Steven Marcum; and her sister, Jadeana Begley. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, as she created a legacy of kindness and warmth that will not be forgotten.

In her leisure time, Lisa took immense joy in spending quality moments with her family, building memories that will be cherished by all who had the privilege to share in her life. As we mourn her passing, let us remember Lisa for the love and laughter she so generously imparted to those around her. May her spirit continue to inspire and guide us as we honor her memory.

Funeral: Friday, February 27, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at the Richard M. Nixon Center in Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Andrew Farmer, Jerry Holland, Jerry McKinley Holland and Ryan Osborne

Interment: Frelin Branch Cemetery, Hyden, KY.

Visitation: Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. at the Hal's Fork Pentecostal Church, Bear Branch, KY.
