Lillian Wells

Lillian Adams Wells born April 30, 1937 in Leslie Co., Ky., the daughter of the late, Toy Adams & Dallie Shepherd Adams. She passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Well's Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. Lillian was 84 years old. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Lillian had worked as a Family Service Coordinator for LKLP Headstart Program in Hyden, KY for 35 years. Lillian was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, KY. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening & especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lillian was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving and devoted husband, Leo Wells, sisters, Helen Shepherd, Mavie Adams and Bernice Fields and brothers, Homer and Leonard Adams. She leaves the following relatives surviving; one cherished son, Freddie Wells (Sabrina), Smilax, KY, one cherished daughter, Joyce Hensley, Smilax, KY., one brother Walter Adams (Adalene), Nicholasville, KY., two sisters, Edith Treadway (Banford), Paris, KY. and Opha Sebastion, Lawrenceburg, KY., seven treasured grandchildren, Billy Hensley, Ricky Allen Hensley, Kyle Hensley, Dustin Hensley, Sierra Combs, Samantha Sizemore and Sommer Vance and five treasured great grandchildren. Also a host of niece, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral: Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, KY.

Minister: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis

Interment: Dewey Wells Family Cemetery, Smilax, KY.

Visitation: Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Church
