Lige Earl "Bud" Asher

Lige Earl "Bud" Asher passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, Kentucky. He was 74 years old. Bud was born on November 14, 1948 at Cinda, Kentucky, the son of the late, Levi Asher and the late, Rosa Holland Asher. He was a life long resident of Leslie County. Bud  was a former coal miner. Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and especially loved spending time with his family, especially his treasured nieces & nephews. 

Bud was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Levi Asher and Rosa Holland Asher, one brother, George Asher and one sister, Maxine Asher. He leaves the following relatives surviving; one brother, Winford Asher, London, Kentucky, two sisters, June Roberts & Bob, Frankfort, Kentucky and Marlene Fields & Leonard, Wooton, KY., nephews, Dan Roberts, Rick Roberts, Russ Roberts, Douglas Asher, Brandon Fields, Jeff Asher & Buster Asher & nieces, Anita Roberts Conrad, Rosalind Fields, Elisha Asher & Debra Asher. Also a host of cousins other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky

Minister: Chris Sale

Interment: Levi Asher Family Cemetery, Yeaddiss, Kentucky

Visitation: Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
