Lexi Maudie Eversole

Lexi Maudie Eversole was born May 5, 1927 in Hyden, Kentucky, the daughter of the late, Lottie Rice. Lexi passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Soin Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. She was 96 years old. Lexie had spent the last 70 years in Dayton. She was born and raised in Leslie County. Lexie was a homemaker. She loved going to flea markets & talking on the phone.

Lexi was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lottie Rice and beloved parents, Sam & Fannie Couch, cherished daughter, Phyllis Wheeler, cherished son, Anthony Wheeler, cherished infant son, Marcus Ray Valentine, treasured great-grandson, Daylon Miller, 3 sisters, Nella Mae Rice, Juanita Roberts & Martha Mae Osborne and brothers, Elmer Couch & Noah Couch. She leaves the following relatives surviving; 2 cherished sons, Bill Wheeler, Dayton, Ohio & Darrell Valentine, Hyden, KY., 1 cherished daughter, Velma Valentine Walker, Hyden, KY., 2 sisters, Glenna Couch & Elonzia Couch both of Bear Branch, KY., 3 treasured grandchildren, Ronnie Rogers, Lonnie Rogers & Patricia Miller, 5 treasured great grandchildren, Daylon Rogers, Derek Rogers, Curtis Rogers, Kaylie Rogers & Sierra Miller & 3 treasured great great grandchildren, Mason Rogers, Brianna Rogers & Marlee Jo Miller. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: William "Hubby" Bowling

Interment: Collins Family Cemetery, Bear Branch, KY.

Visitation: Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home Chapel
