Wayne Reid

Mr. Lester Wayne Reid was born in Harlan, KY. on January 10, 1950, the son of the late, Lester Reid & the late, JoAnne Deaton Reid. He passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was 71 years old. Wayne had been a resident of London, KY. since 2002. By occupation he was a retired Surface Coal Miner. Wayne loved spending time with his family, loved sports & cutting grass. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lester & JoAnne Reid and his only sister, Sandra & her husband, Ernest McIntosh. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 52 years, Rhonda Melton Reid, London, KY., two cherished daughters, Melissa Reid Morgan & her husband, John, London, KY. and Holly Reid Sizemore & her husband, Richard, London, KY.,  three treasured grandchildren whom he adored, Autumn, Matthew and Eden & sister-in-law, Mary Lou Warfield & her husband, Wally, Lexington, KY. Also two uncles & a host of nieces, nephews & cousins survive.

Graveside Service: Friday, November 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Brewer Cemetery at Wooton, KY. with Andrew Farmer officiating.
